Angela Jeffray
ONTARIO LAND SURVEYOR
QUINTE BRANCH MANAGER
As a child Ange viewed a fence as something that kept her parent’s cattle from wandering away. After becoming a surveyor these fences took on a whole new meaning: possible evidence of a property boundary. A zest for the outdoors and a love of mathematics is what led Ange to the surveying profession. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics Engineering, Ange returned to Ontario after accepting a position in Timmins. After four years in Timmons, Ange sought new experiences in a warmer climate, venturing south to Hastings County where she began her career with IBW.
Ange overseas all IBW work completed by our Quinte operations, ensuring a high quality of work and compliance with the applicable statutes and regulations. Ange understands and promotes the integration of new technology into the surveyor’s repertoire. Doing work efficiently, accurately, and to the clients specifications is a daily focus.
The IBW culture supports and encourages continuing education, something which is very important to Ange. Ange is also thankful that IBW allows her the opportunity to continually develop her own abilities and the abilities of those she works with.
When not at work Ange can often be found on the ice for a game of hockey, on the diamond coaching the Melrose rookie baseball team, on the water in her kayak or on foot being escorted around Marysville by two rambunctious Labrador retrievers.
